Mountain Pine Woman's Club received its certificate of membership from the CFWC on January 25th, 1985 and
thus began its affiliation with the GFWC, the world's largest
and oldest women's volunteer organization.
Through 8,000 clubs world wide, GFWC members
perform community service in five areas:

Our club loves to get together! We have a group called "Sit-n-Sip" which meets bi-monthly at a local coffee shop .
We have a group called "Women On the Go" which tours local museums, historic sites, art walks, Performing Arts, high tea and
even just for fun shopping sprees at interesting gift shops.
Our walking group meets at Bingham Lake every
Friday at 10am depending on weather.
Our book club meets at a member's home or via Zoom
to discuss the latest good read chosen by the group.
Truly, we just love to get together! It's the easiest and fastest way to develop friendships as well as get out of the house to enjoy our community.

Our club volunteers at several community events such as the Douglas County Fair, Parker Parade, Parker Chamber Wine Walks, Parker Days, Senior Walk in the Park and SECOR Cares gift wrapping.
We collect pop tops for Ronald McDonald House, newspapers for the Gabriel Foundation and hygiene items for the Douglas County Crisis Center and Valley Hope Addiction/Recovery. We decide as a group which programs we would like to support for the year.
In the past we have supported:
College Scholarships
CAP, Civil Air Patrol
Gathering Place
K-9 Companions
Parker Senior Center
Parker Task Force
Praying Hands Ranch
Rylies Ark
SECOR Cares
Skycliff Center
Step Seven Ministries
Urban Peak
Various Veteran's charities
Wellspring Community
